I'm with the fine folks at APA for Television & Film Directing.
The first gig I did after I getting an overall deal with Warner Brothers Television was Naomi! The story of a Black teenage female superhero was a MFing blast to help bring to life as a Co-Executive Producer and director of three episodes, including the Finale! You can watch the series on HBO/Max. Here’s a trailer from episode 8 (I also directed episode 2 and the season finale) Note- there are SPOILERS here!
Honored to get to Co-Produce the entire season of “Clarice” the TV sequel to THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. Adore Show Creators Alex Kurtzman (thanks again for the chicken nugget recommendation!), Jenny Lumet and Showrunner Elizabeth Klaviter and their vision which consistently had me sleeping with the lights on. No joke. I directed the last two episodes- I’m linking 112 but I also did the Finale. SPOILER ALERT- there’s some stuff you don’t want to see if you haven’t yet watched!
This is it- the second episode of How To Get Away With Murder I had the pleasure to direct in the series’ final season. Still can’t believe I kept all the secrets I knew ;)
I do believe repeat business is a compliment. Honored to get asked back to direct the penultimate episode of season 3 of Station 19. So many stunts! So much fun! (No spoilers.)
Hard to convey what it feels like to have learned about Madam CJ Walker (the first female Self Made Millionaire in the 1900s) as a young girl in elementary school and then to have the opportunity to both produce and direct on a limited series about her life for Netflix. Still pinching myself.
Fortunate to be asked to direct an episode of Station 19 in its second season! It was created by Stacey McKee, it’s produced by The Prolific Paris Barclay and again- what up, Shondaland! p.s. Those fireballs were real!
Yo! I directed an episode of How To Get Away With Murder! With Academy Award Winners Viola Davis! And Timothy Hutton! And Legend, Queen, Ms. Cicely Tyson! What is life?! Whew.
The Red Line is a limited series that aired on CBS last year. Eight episodes. I directed the seventh. The whole series was lensed by the incomparable Kira Kelly one of the Directors of Photography on Queen Sugar. It’s produced by Greg Berlanti and My Boss, Ava DuVernay.
My episode of For The People! This second season was produced by Tom Verica, it was created by Paul William Davies and it’s brought to you by Shondaland!
Queen Sugar (OWN) Season Three! I had the honor of being Producing Director this season and directing three episodes. Here’s a trailer.
